About this guide
Who pays the bill here
Kitchen's Open is paid for by a commission from one online casino partner, through three home page links marked Ad. Casinos and restaurants pay nothing, and neither do BCLC, PlayNow, TransLink or help services.

Three links, one page
Only the home page of this guide carries paid links. There are three of them, and each one is marked Ad. One sits in the menu. Another appears in a block just below the first screen. The third sits near the end of the page.
All three lead to the same private online casino partner, and the site earns a commission from that partner. Kitchen's Open itself is not a casino or a restaurant: it takes no bets or bookings and has no accounts. The partner can change, so these pages do not name it.
What the partner is, and is not
The paid links lead to a private online casino. It is not PlayNow, and it is not run or licensed by the province. Nor is it connected with BCLC, the IGCO or any casino or restaurant in this guide.
A BC resident who plays there has none of the provincial protections. PlayNow limits do not apply, and complaints cannot go to the IGCO. Game Break does not reach it either: the program covers casinos, community gaming centres and PlayNow.com, but not private online sites. The partner behind the links can change.
What money never buys
Casinos, restaurants, BCLC, PlayNow, TransLink and help services never pay this site. Links to casinos and help services are never paid either.
No restaurant can buy a listing or a published hour. Of the 45 restaurants and bars the nine Metro Vancouver casinos name, 31 have serving hours the guide could read. River Rock's times for Gordon Ramsay Steak and Privé Bar disagree, so no hours are shown for them.
Questions at the counter
Does a restaurant pay to appear in this guide?
No restaurant pays to appear. Restaurants, casinos, BCLC, PlayNow, TransLink and help services never pay this site, and links to casinos and help services are never paid.
Why are the paid links only on the home page?
That is how the guide is built. Its three paid links, each marked Ad, sit on the home page, and the casino pages carry none, River Rock's included.
Does the commission change the hours shown?
The commission has no bearing on hours. Kitchen hours here are only those a casino or its restaurant publishes for a named restaurant or bar. Where published times disagree, as at River Rock for Gordon Ramsay Steak and Privé Bar, no hours are shown.
